What should I do if I notice data loss?

What is the difference between logical and physical data recovery?
One logical data recovery is necessary if the hardware is intact but the data structure is damaged (e.g. deleted files, formatted drive). One physical data recovery is required if the hardware itself is defective (e.g. a head crash on a hard drive). This requires special tools and often a clean room laboratory.
How long does a data recovery take?
The duration depends largely on the type of damage and the amount of data. A simple logical data recovery can often be completed within 1-3 business days. Complex physical rescues or RAID restores can take a week or longer. For urgent cases we offer an express service.
